Individual Self-Fulfillment

           Freedom of speech is undeniably one of the most important things in the US Constitution. It's something that we brag about and pride on for being a free country that freely speak about whatever they want to. Without freedom of speech then we would be violating the "Near" rule (Prior restraint). Having citizens of the US be able to speak out about what they want to, even if its anti government, is very healthy for this country. It lets people release what they want to say; rather than be censored and feel like your trapped in a country that doesn't let you speak your mind. The Self Fulfillment theory explains that it is a man or womans capacity to think, wonder, and imagine. "Speech is protected not as a means of a collective good but because of that value of speech conduct to the individual." (Professor C, Edwin Baker) This quote is essentially explaining that it is a persons natural habit to think, wonder and imagine and if they aren't able to speak about it freely then theres no point to thinking freely.

Raising Tensions between Pakistan and India

             

 The past few months the tension between Pakistan and India have been getting out of control. Almost to the point to where it should concern all of us. Recently Pakistan sent a suicide bomber into India and killed 40 of their troops, India responded by airstrikes followed by Pakistan shooting down two of their fighter jets and capturing on pilot. There are now threatening each other with nuclear power. While you might think we are out of harms way if they launch nukes at each-other, we aren't. Because if they launch nukes, it would be a environmental and humanitarian catastrophe to this planet.

Pulling troops out of Afghanistan

1,000 TROOPS TO LEAVE AFGHANISTAN

       I recently read an article on We Are The Mighty, one of the news sites highlighted in one of my previous pieces, it stated that we are pulling more troops out of Afghanistan. I was happy to read this article as I think it is time we start to give the ANA (Afghanistan National Army) more control as we have trained them up for many years. The article also mentioned that we are attempting to negotiate with the Taliban with officials in Kabul so I am interested to see where that goes. Trump intends to pull roughly 1,000 troops under the efficiency drive.

Door Dash

Door Dash is such a convenient app and is definitely in my top three favorite pieces of technology to use. DoorDash is an app where you can select a restaurant thats listed on the app and then order food from there and have it delivered to you. The benefit of this app is that it will create a delivery option for most places that never deliver. The benefits of door dash are endless, I typically use it because i have minimal time to go eat on campus so I am able to order food on door-dash and have it come at a set time to ensure that i will have time to eat my food and then be able to move on to my next project that day.

We are the Mighty is a news site that its geared towards the service men and women of the United States. It keeps up on the latest in military technology, possible conflicts with other countries and current war zones we are currently in. The site also has articles that have "military humor" to help brighter your day.

Yahoo News

I really enjoy going on yahoo news specifically for their financial news because I think that it is the most easy navigate and has the most up to date on current stocks and economy statistics. 

ESPN

If you watch sports then you know that this is the go-to spot for the most up to date news on sports. It's easy to navigate, fun to read, and most importantly very rarely incorrect about anything. You can also get text alerts on your phone for when a major sports related event occurs which I think is very use-full.

FOX & CNN

I grouped these two together because they are the two most popular news sites. I like to read from both of them because I feel that by doing this I am able to take away a less bias opinion on the news and can really pull away just the facts instead of the opinions that may sway in a certain direction.
